Gypsie Skripto and Toby Bruno have one primary thing in common: they both contributed
illustrations to
Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales of Shamlicht.
Gypsie Skripto was a little girl when given the Discordian name Porky Pigsties by
Discordianism co-founder
Greg Hill. Gypsie contributed to Principia Discordia for
Loompanics;
Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia, Principia Harmonia, Intermittens, Five Finger
Discord,
and a number of websites.  A hostess for Shamlicht Kids Club events, Gypsie
is also a pagan high priestess.

Toby Bruno is a founding member of the Ĕk-sĕn-trĭks Cluborguild which began the
Order of the Pineapple. As the group was beginning, Toby brought in the artists. A
contributor to the
Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia which talks about the OP, Toby is the first
illustrator of OP mascot
Pat Pineapple.  (Some would say Toby created the mascot, but
we all know Pat already existed).

'It amazes me that the
college club I helped to
create 36 years ago
has continued to grow
and evolve.  Some
humor and eccentricity
are necessary in a
crazy world.  I am
humbled to be a
founding member and
see all the awardees
over the decades who
have been inducted
into the Order of the
Pineapple and to be
joining them.  It
reminds me that I
should always continue
to throw my heart into
all that I create without
expectation.  Thank
you guys!'

The fifth group to award the
Order of the Pineapple was the
Order of the Pineapple itself.  By
the end of 2010, the group was
thought big enough to give its
own award.
The 37th annual award (36th anniversary) was given on 18 January 2018, or 18 Chaos
both are artists.

'I am so very honored
to receive this award.
To be listed with such
great people is
overwhelming!

I really can't take credit
for being an original
Discordian.
Greg Hill
nicknamed me Porky
Pigsties when I was a
little girl because I
loved Porky Pig and
playing in mud. And
the interview for
Loompanics was really
Greg's. I just
suggested a couple
things.

I did do the rest
though, so thank you
all so very much!'
