The 11th award dates to 18 January 1992, or 18 Chaos 3158. This is the second year it was given by Earth Chapter 5 of the Ek-sen-triks Cluborguild. It returned to being given on 18 January, and beginning this year was called the Patus Pineappleus Bromeliadic and the winners The Bromeliaddicts.

According to Queen Bitch, the three founders of Chapter 5 were accused of "nepotism" for
receiving the award in their first year themselves. Completely bucking that year, in 1992 the
club gave it to people who were not members of Chapter 5.
Pat Pineapple was the Mascot of the original Ĕk-sĕn-trĭks Cluborguild. Several years
later, Pat became the Patron Saint of the Discordian Division of the Ek-sen-triks
CluborGuild. It may have been Toby Bruno who named Pat; certainly it was Toby who
drew the "official" image of Pat used by the original club and which appears in Ek-sen-
trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales of Shamlicht. The pineapple character was likely
inspired by the pineapple given to Alien in 1982. Relatively little is known about Pat
other than can be determined by looking at his--or her--picture. Most ECGers assume
Pat is male, but like the Saturday Night Live Pat, we can't be sure.
Wilson is perhaps the first living person to receive the award who had no direct
association with the original ECG or its spinoffs. Moondancer, a member of the original
ECG, was a friend of Wilson's daughter Luna, and the award is given on his birthday,
but those are apparently synchronicity. Wilson was a contributor to Principia Discordia
and, with Robert Shea, popularized Discordianism in The Illuminatus! Trilogy. Members
of the Church of the SubGenius know him as Pope Bob, and Discordians as Mordecai
Malignatus. Robert Anton Wilson Website
It's unfortunately unknown how many chapters of the Ek-sen-triks Cluborguild were formed. While this one called itself the 5th, it was likely Earth's second chapter.
