Many of the Merry Archers of
Paganus Grimlove were members
of the Society for Creative
Anachronism, or SCA in 1989. Not
surprisingly, most of them were
archers.
1989
The eighth award dates to 18 January 1989, or 18 Chaos 3155.  This is the second
year the award was not given by the original club. Like the awards given by the original
group, the specific reasons are not listed.
While we don't know the exact year the Ĕk-sĕn-trĭks Cluborguild faded into the mists, it may
well have happened by 1989 or not long after. The Pineapple Arrow was given by the Merry
Archers of Paganus Grimlove.

Kermit was an active member of the original club.  Paganus claims to have been founding
president
Zeus--if so, he mistakenly won the award twice.
KERMIT
Kermit was a member and likely a founding member of the Ĕk-sĕn-trĭks Cluborguild and
was quite possibly honored after that club was gone.

Anyone who has more information about Kermit is asked to send us an email to the
address listed on our
homepage.
Kermit
Called Paganus Grimlove the Uncanonized by Discordians, he is well known both for
being eccentric and being an archer and an "honorable lord" in the SCA. He's been
Queen's Champion in six forms: archery, crossbow, rapier, light weapons, thrown
weapons, and unarmoured combat. He began House Grimlove, which included many of
the members of the original Ĕk-sĕn-trĭks Cluborguild. He was also the possessor of the
Discordian relic The Duck.  No matter how many times people drank from it, the duck
never went dry.  He and the duck are featured in
Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia: The Tales
of Shamlicht.
